Riley Children’s Foundation launches ‘Be the Hope Now’ campaign to raise $175M by 2020

“Be the Hope Now: The Campaign for Kids”, is Riley Children’s Foundation’s plan to raise $175 million by 2020 to transform Riley Hospital for Children (Riley) at Indiana University Health through Pediatric Research and Patient Care, Maternity and Newborn Health, and Family and Support Programs.

$80 million will give hope to pediatric research and patient care advancing medical care for children and pursuing cures for life-threatening and life-altering diseases.

$55 million in unrestricted funds will give hope to urgent and emerging needs at Riley.

$25 million will give hope to maternity and newborn health to ensure mothers and babies have access to the best possible prenatal and postnatal care.

$15 million will give hope to family support programs ensuring every child and family has access to support services including Child Life, social services, and Camp Riley.

The “Be the Hope Now” campaign launched publicly Wednesday, November 28, during Riley Children’s Foundation’s annual luncheon. The luncheon raised $114,000 for the campaign, over $90,000 more than last year’s funds raised at the luncheon.

With less than two years to reach their campaign fundraising goal, Riley Children’s Foundation is more focused than ever to raise $175 million for the kids.
