Rubi Bayer of Team ArenaNet Raises Nearly $9,500 for Riley Hospital for Children

Employees of ArenaNet, a game development and publishing company based in Seattle, raised over $65,000 for Extra Life during their game day event.

Arena Net’s team captain, Rubi Bayer, encouraged the company to host the game day event through Extra Life. This event ran from 12 p.m. November 2 – 12 p.m. November 3.

Bayer led her team to surpass their fundraising total of $50,000 by over $15,000.

Bayer remarks, “Team ArenaNet’s goal was $50,000: We encouraged our community to donate $25k, and ArenaNet matched it with $25k of our own. Then our community kept going, so we bumped it to a stretch goal of $60k. Our community KEPT GOING and took us past $65k.”

Bayer raised nearly $9,500 for Riley Hospital for Children and Riley Children’s Foundation is immensely grateful for her support.
