Together we can Help Kids Live Better
Riley ranks in nine U.S. News & World Report pediatric categories; two specialties make top 10
Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health is honored to be ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report. In 2019-20, we ranked in nine pediatric specialties, and remain the only nationally ranked children’s hospital in Indiana.
Nine of our ranked specialties this year include:
- Cancer
- Cardiology & Heart Surgery
- Diabetes & Endocrinology
- Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
- Nephrology
- Neurology & Neurosurgery
- Orthopedics
- Pulmonology
- Urology
Riley is especially proud of its Urology department which ranked third in the country, and Cardiology and Heart Surgery department which ranked ninth in the country.
Without the ongoing support of donors, Riley could not deliver the best care, designed for children and their families, each day. As a result, this generosity helps expert physicians in every pediatric specialty handle more than 300,000 patient visits each year.
The work our partners do truly matters and this is positive proof that together we can help kids live better.
Showing support since 1987, local Walmarts and Sam’s Clubs have helped raise over $23 million for Riley Hospital. Doing so through a register fundraising campaign, associates are helping kids live better by asking customers to donate $1 at a time. To continue the annual tradition, this year’s campaign is running now until July 7.
Money raised by stores is used to pay for equipment, research, supplies, charitable care and a variety of other needs the hospital has. As a result, this funding plays a key role in the expert care provided at Riley.
By simply donating a $1 or more at your local Walmart or Sam’s Club, you are helping Riley continue to strive to be the best children’s hospital and provide excellent care to all 92 counties in Indiana.
Support Riley today by visiting your local Walmart or Sam’s Club and donating at the register!
